On Monday, January 23, 2012 at approximately 8:00 PM, Waterloo Police were dispatched to 1650 Williston Avenue on report of a burglary. Officers made contact with the victim and were told that a bottle of Crown Royal, a diamond ring and money had been taken from the residence.

A short time later, a Waterloo Officer stopped a white Ford Crown Victoria. The officer received consent to search the vehicle and he found some of the items taken in the burglary. The driver and passengers were taken to the Waterloo Police Department and interviewed.  They admitted to taking the items from Williston Street and also being involved in an attempted burglary at 815 Oregon Street, Waterloo.

The investigation resulted in the following being charges being filed:

Deandrew Deshawn Harris, age 25, of 224 Randolph Street, Waterloo was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Attempted Burglary in the 3rd Degree.

Devonta Cortez Parker Johnson, age 18, of 136 Bertch Street, Waterloo was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Attempted Burglary in the 3rd Degree.

Joscela Danielle Holloway, age 19, of 224 Randolph Street, Waterloo was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree.

Harris and Johnson are being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on $100,000.00 Bond. Holloway is being held in the BHC jail on $50,000.00 bond.
