On Monday, January 23, 2012, Waterloo Police arrested Devonta Cortez Parker Johnson, age 18, of 136 Bertch Street, Waterloo and Joscela Danielle Holloway, age 19, of 224 Randolph Street, Waterloo on burglary charges.

Follow-up investigation has lead to additional charges being filed against Johnson and Holloway in regards to several other burglaries.

Charges are as follows:

Johnson has been charged with 3rd Degree Burglary and Possession of a Firearm as a Felon in connection with a burglary at 157 Cornwall Street, Waterloo. A .22 caliber rifle and a 16-gauge shotgun were some of the items taken in the burglary. They have been recovered.

Johnson has been charged with three additional charges of 3rd Degree Burglary in connection with burglaries at 1002 Baltimore Street, 2517 Randolph Street and 2541 Manor Street. Several items in connection with these burglaries have been recovered.

Holloway has been charged with five counts of 3rd Degree Burglary in connection with burglaries at 157 Cornwall Street, 1002 Baltimore Street, 2517 Randolph Street, 2541 Manor Street and 1859 Hawthorne Avenue. Several items taken in these burglaries have been recovered.

They are both still being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
