On February 20, 2012, Officers with the Waterloo Police Violent Crime Apprehension Team (VCAT) received information about some subjects being in possession of guns that were stolen from a residence in Cedar Falls. VCAT contacted Cedar Falls Police Department to initiate a joint investigation.

This investigations lead to the arrest of the following people:

Taylor James Kruckenberg, age 19, of 1725 Carriage Hill Drive, Waterloo, IA. He was charged with possession of a weapon as a felon, trafficking stolen weapons and carrying weapons.

Michael Thomas Heggebo, age 16, of 608 Ardmore Street, Waterloo, IA. He was charged with trafficking stolen weapons, possession of a weapon as a felon and theft in the second degree.

Zachariah Richard Smith, age 28, of 2589 Killdeer Avenue, Denver, IA. He was charged with trafficking stolen weapons, interference, carrying weapons and eluding police.

Joshua Merle Heath, age 32, of 3325 Kennedy Lane, Waterloo, IA. He was charged with trafficking stolen weapons, child endangerment, sale of marijuana and drug tax stamp violation.

Latosha Danyal Heath, age 29, of 3325 Kennedy Lane, Waterloo, IA. She was charged with sale of marijuana and child endangerment.

Trevor Ray Feauto, age 15, of 6424 University Avenue, Cedar Falls, IA. He was charged with third degree theft and trafficking stolen weapons.

Police seized eight weapons in this case, including four that had been reported stolen. Police also seized drugs, cash and ammunition.
