On May 17, 2012 at approximately 1954hrs, Waterloo Officers responded to the report of shots fired in the 900 block of Cutler St.  Officers located evidence of a shooting and discovered items related to the shooting at 902 Cutler St.  Officers executed a search warrant at 902 Cutler St. and seized three sawed-off shotguns and two rifles.  All of the weapons recovered had been reported stolen during multiple burglaries. 

Officers identified two suspects during the investigation and they were charged with multiple felonies.  Sixteen-year-old Jalen Jahal Gary was charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, carrying weapons and trafficking stolen weapons.  Seventeen-year-old Maryo Doyuan Lindsey Jr. was charged with five counts of trafficking stolen weapons and three counts of possession of an offensive weapon.  Both suspects were charged as adults and booked at the Black Hawk County Jail.
