On Friday, July 7, 2012, at approximately 5:25 AM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on report of a motor vehicle accident.

The investigation found that a Ford Taurus being driven by Radovan Josipovic, age 31, of Waterloo was eastbound on MLK when a Ford Focus traveling westbound, driven by Dianne L. Moses, age 57, of Waterloo, crossed the centerline and struck the Taurus. Moses was trapped in her vehicle and was extricated by Waterloo Fire Rescue.

Both drivers were transported to Allen Hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
