Wednesday, 10 October 2012 14:55

On Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at approximately 1:30 PM, Waterloo Police were sent to Blessed Sacrament School, 600 Stephan Avenue, on a report of a man trying to coax a young girl into his vehicle.

The girl was walking home from school down Stephan Street when a man in a SUV pulled up beside her and stopped. He told her to get into the car, but the girl took off running back to school. The girl was not harmed.

Police are looking for a dark Blue SUV w/ a Iowa State University sticker on the back window, driven by a black male, age 50-60 years old, black hair and black beard and tattoos on his neck. If anyone has any information about this incident, please call the police at 319-291-2515.
