On Thursday, November 14, 2013, at 6:56 PM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue were sent to 1211 Langley Road on a report of shots fired and a man on the ground by the garages.  The victim was identified as 18 year old Daequan Oshae Campbell of 438 Locust Street, Waterloo. Campbell was shot in the chest and hip. He was transported to Covenant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Waterloo Police Investigation Division at 319-291-4340, ex. 5003.
