On 09-12-08 at approximately 06:14 AM, Officers of the Waterloo Police Department were sent to the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Drive on report of a two-vehicle accident.

 

Upon arrival, officers found one vehicle on its side with the driver trapped inside and the other driver complaining of minor injuries. The trapped driver, Victor Escobar, 325 ½ Western, Waterloo, IA was freed from his vehicle by Waterloo Fire Rescue personnel and transported to Allen Hospital. The other driver, Larry Garbes, 935 Young Street, Jesup, Iowa was treated at the scene. 


The accident remains under investigation.
