This press release will serve as final notification that effective Monday, November 3, 2008 the Waterloo Police Department will be changing the process we presently use to send press releases to the media. We will no longer use Email as our communication tool. Instead, we will be publishing the press releases on our department’s web page: www.waterloopolice.com. The media will then be able to subscribe to our RSS feed, which will allow them to obtain the information immediately upon release.
To sign up for the RSS feed go to www.waterloopolice.com. At the bottom right hand side of the home page there is a link to click on to sign up. If you are having trouble or need instructions, there is another link that will direct you on how to complete this process.
