Friday, 12 December 2008 14:50

On Thursday, December 11, 2008 around 2:45 a.m., Waterloo Police officers received a report of an assault victim at Covenant Medical Center.  The investigation revealed that 18-year-old Jasmine Janese Mills of Waterloo was assaulted while in the parking lot of the Kum & Go convenience store at 117 East San Marnan Drive.  Jasmine Mills was taken to Covenant Medical Center by private party and later pronounced dead at the hospital.

On Friday, December 12, 2008 the State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on Jasmine Mills and the results of that autopsy will not be available until all tests are completed.

No arrest has been made in connection with this incident and the investigation continues.
