On Thursday, 12/31/09 at about 9 PM Waterloo Police responded to City Liquor & Tobacco at 508 Broadway, on a report of suspicious suspects fitting the description of suspects who had robbed the business on Wednesday, 12/23/09.  Officers arrived and made contact with Asa Jason Winters, DOB 7/31/89 of Waterloo; Baron M.J. Booker, DOB 7/7/88 of Waterloo and Najuan C. Decatur, DOB 9/22/79 of Chicago.

Winters was found to be in possession of a handgun and marijuana. He was taken into custody and charged with Carrying Weapons and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

During the investigation Najuan C. Decatur and Baron Booker were identified as  suspects in the Robbery of the E.4th Street Liquor Store at 1027 E.4th Street on December 29, 2009 where and employee was shot.  They were taken into custody and charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree and Willful Injury. Booker was charged with an additional charge of Going Armed with Intent in connection to the E.4th Street Liquor incident.

This incident remains under investigation.
