On Friday, February 5, 2010 Waterloo Police charged 38-year-old James Edward Anderson of Waterloo with robbery in the second degree in connection with the September 26, 2009 robbery of the Kum & Go convenience store at 117 East San Marnan Drive.

On that date a white male wearing a blue hooded coat entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.  The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the store.  No one was injured during this incident.

Anderson was previously charged with four counts of robbery in the second degree in connection with four other robberies that occurred on August 24th and 25th, 2009.  On those dates Clark of Waterloo at 1008 LaPorte Road, 5 Star Snacks and More at 437 Sullivan Avenue, Perkins Restaurant at 3280 University Avenue and Metro Laundry at 914 West 5th Street were robbed by a white male wearing a blue hooded coat.

Anderson remains in custody in the Black Hawk County Jail on no bond.  Photo shown below.
