Register for the Force Science® Training Course on September 21-22 at Hawkeye Community College sponsored by Waterloo Police Department and the Black Hawk County Attorney's Office

On 01-31-2010, Waterloo Police were sent to Covenant Hospital on the report of a 13 year-old assault victim being treated there.

Upon investigation of this case, it was determined that the 13 year old had been involved in a fight with a 15 year old at Crossroads Mall. The two juveniles had gotten into an argument inside the mall and agreed to go outside and fight. There were several witnesses to the incident. No weapons were involved.

Taken into custody on a charge of disorderly conduct were Malik Deyontae Lee Guzzle, age 13 and Francisco Pascual Rubio, age 15. Both juveniles have been referred to Juvenile Court Service.
