On March 24, 2011, Waterloo Police responded to Roth Jeweler's, 229 East 5th Street on report of a theft. The manager reported that several necklaces and bracelets had been stolen.

The manager stated that a male and female came into the store to look at jewelry. While looking at the jewelry, the female distracted the store clerk and the male stole the items.

Police obtained video surveillance from the store and are looking to identify the two people in the store. The suspects are a white male, age 35, 6'0, 280# and a white female, age 35, 5"7, 160#.
