On Sunday May 29, 2011 around 0230hrs, Officers made contact with several suspects in the 200 block of W. 6th St. regarding a narcotics investigation.  One of the suspects fled on foot while speaking with Officers.  A foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was apprehended after being tasered.  The suspect was identified as twenty-four year old John Daniel Forehand.  During the investigation Officers recovered a .32 caliber revolver that Forehand discarded during the foot pursuit.  Forehand was booked in at the Black Hawk County Jail for possession of a firearm as a felon, interference with official acts while possessing a weapon and carrying weapons.
