Waterloo Police Investigate Fatal Vehicle-Bicycle Accident

On Friday, September 3, 2010 at approximately 10:46 pm the Waterloo Police Department responded to the area of Cedar Terrace Dr and Texas St on a report of a motor vehicle accident.

In arriving at this location it was found that a motor vehicle had struck a subject that was riding a bike.  The bicyclist was pronounced dead on scene.  The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The victim's name is not being released at this time pending relative notifications.

This incident remains under investigation.
