On Saturday May 26, 2012 at approximately 1918hrs, Waterloo Officers responded to a fight at City Food and Liquor located at 200 Broadway St.  Upon arrival Officers made contact with two suspects attempting to leave the area in a vehicle.  The suspects were identified as  twenty-year old Dai'Sean Dupree Battles and nineteen-year-old Irvin Johnson Jr, both of Waterloo.  During the investigation Officers discovered Battles was in possession of a loaded .40 caliber handgun, while Johnson was in possession of a loaded .22 caliber handgun.  Both suspects were taken into custody and charged with carrying weapons.
