On Sunday April 14th at 3:11 AM officers with the Waterloo Police Department were dispatched to the Kwik Star 1214 Franklin Street, reference a robbery.  While en route officers were advised a young black male had entered the store with a weapon and demanded money before fleeing on foot.

During the follow-up investigation officers identified Eric Anthony Bickerstaff Jr. (17 years old from Waterloo) as the male who entered the store. Officers located Bickerstaff at a residence in the 900 blk Mulberry Street and he was taken into custody.  Officers continued the investigation and identified Ivan Lee Woods (20 years old, from Waterloo) as driving Bickerstaff Jr. during the robbery and he was also taken into custody.  Both were charged with Robbery 1st Degree and booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.

The Waterloo Police Department does not believe this incident is connected to the robbery at Kwik Star 707 Broadway Street on 4-13-13.
