Waterloo Police Investigate Suspicious Death

On Sunday, March 23, 2014, Waterloo Police responded to a report of a female body in the area of the 900 block of Ricker Street shortly before 2 pm. Responding Officer located a female who was later identified as 53 year old Sharon Creighton. Creighton was determined to be deceased at the scene. Creighton had been reported as missing earlier in the day. No further information is being released pending the results of an autopsy by the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
