The Waterloo Police Protective Association (WPPA), in cooperation with the Waterloo Police Department, is pleased to announce the first annual Cops, Kids, and Christmas shopping event. This event was created to help build positive relationships between police officers and Kids in our community. 

On Saturday December 20, 2014 09:00 a.m. Waterloo Police Protective Association members, volunteering their time, will meet with nine kids previously selected by their School Resource Officers. These kids will be paired with a Police Officer to accompany them in shopping for Christmas gifts for them and their families. 

Members of the media are welcome to attend.  The Police Officers and the kids will meet outside Target on Saturday December 20, 2014 at 08:45 a.m.  The event will start at 09:00 a.m.
