The Waterloo Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Jefferson Street on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 12:12 A.M.

 

When officers arrived they located shell casings in the street in the 1400 block of Jefferson Street. Five minutes after the initial call a victim arrived at Covenant Medical Center Emergency Department with a single, non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm. The victim was identified as Marquis D. Norris, age 19, of Waterloo.

 

There is no additional information at this time as the investigation is still on going and we are the process of interviewing witnesses and following up on the evidence collected from the scene.
