Patch

Waterloo Police Department and Allen Child Protection Center are hosting the Cedar Valley Family Safety Expo on April 20, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Cedar Valley SportsPlex.

We will have more than twenty agencies in the Cedar Valley there to give out information on how to keep our kids and families safe, and how we can support those in our community that have been victims of crime.  This is free to the public; with giveaways, food, and the chance to play soccer, basketball, and try out the indoor kids’ play area at the Sportsplex.

Drew and Heather Collins will be our honored guests, speaking at the kickoff in the courtyard. To help keep children safe the Waterloo Police Department will distribute Child ID kits, with photograph, to parents who attend the event.

For more details visit the Waterloo Police Department Facebook page or contact the Waterloo Police Domestic Abuse Response Team at (319)-291-4331.
