Patch

On June 1st, 2012 Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers announced it’s beginning in the Cedar Valley.  On June 1st, 2017 the 500th  person was arrested through the program.  Sharing the belief of Crime Stoppers programs throughout the country, “That someone other than the criminal has information about the crime”, Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers encourages the public to contact them with information relating to criminal or suspicious activity.  With the motto, “Helping Keep Our Neighborhoods Safe”, Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers offers citizens the opportunity to become involved in their community while remaining anonymous.  Over the years tips to Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers have resulted in arrests for Simple Assault, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Willful Injury, Felons in Possession of a Firearm and Murder. Tips have led to the arrest of people in 6 states and throughout Iowa.  Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit while relies on the generosity of businesses and the public to operate.  Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers would like to thank the Guernsey Foundation and the Community Foundation of NE Iowa for initially believing in the program and continuing to support their efforts.
