On Saturday, May 19, 2018 at approximately 12:13 AM Waterloo Police Officers responded to several shots fired in the area of 1300 blk of E. 4^th Street, Waterloo.  As they checked the area they located the area of the shooting in the area of Linn and Cottage.   As a result of this investigation 2 victims suffered nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds and a vehicle sustained damage.  

At approximately 4:36 AM officers responded to the area of the 1600 block of Sycamore on report of someone hearing gunshots.   While investigating this matter they were notified of a shooting victim at Allen Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries that were sustained as a result of this shooting.

At approximately 5:16 AM officers responded to 639 Gable on a report of shots fired call.   When the officers arrived they located a victim inside the residence suffering from a serious gunshot wound.   The victim was taken by Waterloo Fire Rescue to Allen Hospital where he later died.
