On Thursday September 8th about 10:40 P.M. Waterloo Police responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Sycamore and E. Mullan involving two vehicles.  Officers arrived and were able to determine that a 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by Courtney Gladney of Waterloo had ran the stop sign on Sycamore and collided with a  straight bed Freightliner truck driven by Joseph Gloar of  Davenport, Iowa that  was traveling southboud on Mullan.  Gloar's vehicle then rolled, landed on it's top and caught fire.  Gloar was able to escape from of his vehicle injured.  Gladney also was able to  exit his vehicle then took of running from the area,  Officers located Gladney nearby and arrested Gladney for Operating while Intoxicated  and various other traffic and driving charges. No injuries were reported.
