On Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 9:12 PM, Officers were dispatched to 222 Sumner St reference an assault in progress.  Upon arrival, Officers found a female victim at this address.  However, the male suspect was not present.  A short time later, Officers made contact at another residence with the suspect, identified as Lionel Crawford, 28 years of age.  It was found that he had suffered a stab wound to the left chest area during the altercation.  He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  Once released, Crawford was arrested for Domestic Assault- Aggravated and transported to the Black Hawk County Jail for booking.
