3 arrested for house burglary

On Friday, July 20th, 2012 at approximately 3:14pm, Waterloo Police were sent to 1118 Wallgate Avenue on the report of a house burglary in progress.

The homeowner was in the basement of the home and could here the subjects upstairs.  When the officers arrived in the area, the subjects fled on foot.  Police pursued and eventually took all three subjects into custody.

The people arrested were;
Anthony Cordell Benford, age 19, of 606 Independence Avenue in Waterloo.
Marlon Moneek NIx Jr, age 19, of 401 Reed Street in Waterlooo
John Joseph Sanford, age 18, of 4117  #132 University Avenue in Cedar Falls

Benford, Nix, & Sanford were all charged with Buglary 1st, Carrying Weapons, & Interference with Official Acts.
