On Monday, January 28, 2019 at about 1:47 pm, Officers with the Violent Crimes Apprehension Team continued a weapons investigation. During the investigation, Officers stopped a vehicle near HWY 218 and Shaulis reference the investigation. During the felony stop, Jumonie Wilson (age 18) and Nicholas Halterman (age 18) were detained from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, Officers located a quantity of marijuana, digital scales, amount of US currency, and a semi-auto handgun.

Wilson was charged and booked in at the BHC Jail on Carrying Weapons, Interference with Official Acts with Firearm, and Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana with a Firearm.

Haltermann was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana.
