Patch

On Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 Waterloo Police were dispatched to Regions Bank, at 412 Mulberry, Street on a report of the suspect entering the business, displaying a handgun and demanding money.    The suspect fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival and was not located in the area.

The Waterloo Police in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigations and other law enforcement agencies continued to investigate this case.   As a result of this ongoing investigation  a Federal Grand Jury issued an indictment on Steven Lee Sisk age 54 for this incident on February 8th, 2019.

On February 9th, 2019 at approximately 1:51 PM Steven L. Sisk was arrested by Waterloo Police Officers without incident and taken to the Black Hawk County Jail.    We would like to thank the community and all the assisting agencies for helping bring this case to trial.  As this is an ongoing multi-agency investigation there will be no further information released at this time.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty
