On Thursday, June 13, 2019 at approximately 3:37 PM Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a bicycle.   The accident occurred in the intersection of Vinton and Franklin.   A pickup truck, being driven by William J. Kirby age 53, of Coggon IA was traveling east on Franklin and was proceeding through a green light at Vinton when it struck a bicycle traveling south across Franklin.   The driver of the bicycle, Keion Bridges, age 10 of Waterloo was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he is receiving treatment for injuries sustained in this accident.   This incident remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
