On September 29th, 2020 at 9:23 a.m. the Waterloo Police Department responded to an armed robbery at 1117 E. 4th Street, in Waterloo, Ali’s Corner Convenience Store.   The investigation into this matter, including a tip submitted to Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers, resulted in the suspect being identified as Diontay Cobbs age 25 with a last known address in Davenport, Iowa.   Waterloo Police have obtained a warrant for 1st Degree Robbery for Cobbs and are asking the public’s help in locating him.

He was last seen in a 2018 Ford Fusion with Iowa License Plate GMG093.     

Information on his location should be report immediately to local law enforcement, please take no personal action trying to detain Cobbs.  Tips on Cobbs potential location can be left with Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers 319-232-5583, or with Waterloo Police 319-291-4340 ext. 3/Investigations.
