UPDATE:  Thanks to the publics help the girls have been located safe on August 26,2021 at 2118hrs.

 

The Waterloo Police Department is seeking the publics help in locating 3 young girls.  At about 1855hrs tonight, a resident from the 1200 block of Byron Ave called and reported that three young white females came to their door during the storm.  The reporting party estimated the girls ages to be between 9 and 16 years.  The youngest girl has brown hair and is wearing black shoes and a pink and blue childs blanket over her shoulders.  Another girl was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black tennis shoes, and has longer pink colored hair.  The third girl was wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and white tennis shoes (not pictured).

The picture below was taken from a surveillance camera in the 1100 block of Byron Ave at 7:00pm.  If anyone has seen these females recently and/or can identify either of them, please call 319-291-2515 or 319-291-4340 Ext*3208.
