Waterloo fire causes one fatality

On Monday, November 01, 2010, at approximately 12:51 PM a citizen reported flames coming from the residence at 2104 Ansborough Avenue. Waterloo Fire Rescue and Waterloo Police responded to the scene.

Waterloo Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire has not been determined. The fire resulted in one fatality. The identity of the victim will not be released pending the results of an autopsy. The autopsy will be performed on Tuesday.

 The investigation continues.
