Police Investigate Residential Robbery

On February 3, 2010 at approximately 11:47 PM, officers were sent to 734 W. 1st on report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The victim reported to officers that he had just arrived home and was entering the front door when he three subjects forced their way in behind him. The suspects assaulted the victim by punching and kicking him. The suspects then took household items and fled the area on foot. The suspects are described as three black male teenagers.

The victim was later transported to an area hospital by Waterloo Fire Rescue where he was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.

The case remains under investigation.
