On Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Trinity American Lutheran Church will be hosting a Drug Disposal Day.  This event is a follow-up to the successful event that was hosted at this location on November 13, 2010, when 378 pounds of medication was dropped off.

 

Unwanted prescriptions drugs, over-the-counter medication, and illegal street drugs will be accepted with no questions asked to event participants.

 

The event is being sponsored by Allen Health Systems, Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission, Home Instead Senior Care, MidAmerican Energy, Pathways Behavioral Services, Trinity American Lutheran Church, and Waterloo Police Department.
