On Thursday, July 19, 2012 at approximately 11:00 AM, Waterloo Police were dispatch to 315 Belmont Avenue on report of a burglary.

The homeowner reported that when he pulled up to his residence he observed two males standing in his driveway. The subjects left and when the homeowner entered his house he found that a flat screen TV and his laptop computer were gone.

Another witness told officers that he saw the suspects climb through a window at 404 Randolph Street. Officers entered 404 Randolph Street and found the suspects inside along with the stolen laptop computer. The TV was located hidden in some bushes.

Arrested:

Denzale Devon Babuta Ratliff, age 18, of 537 Dawson Street, Waterloo, IA. He was charged with 3rd degree Burglary and Criminal Trespass.

Raymond Duke Birden, age 13, of 120 Lehman Circle, Waterloo, IA. He was charged with 3rd degree Burglary and Criminal Trespass.
