On Saturday, December 22, 2012 at approximately 2:39 AM, Waterloo Police responded to 343 Albany Street on report of a shooting. The deceased victim was found to be Anthony Gardner, age 27 of Des Moines, IA
Today, January 17, 2013, Waterloo Police charged Orlando Deon Moore, Jr. age 26, of 343 Albany Street, Waterloo with Murder in the First Degree.
According to witnesses, Gardner and Moore were arguing at the residence before Gardner was shot.
Moore has been in the Black Hawk County Jail on a probation violation since the morning of the shooting.
