On Friday, February 22, 2013, at approximately 8:10 PM, Waterloo Police were dispatched to 1019 Lafayette Street on report of two subjects kicking in the door at the residence.

Upon arrival officers met with the who stated that two males kicked in her front door and came inside. She met them at the stairs and swung at them with a can of shaving cream in her hand. The suspects then left the house.

A short time later, Police located a van that matched the description of the vehicle that was scene driving away from the house. The follow-up investigations lead to the arrest for four people for burglary.

Charged were:

Curtis James Williams, age 19, of 329 Webster Street, Waterloo, IA.
Deantay Darelle Williams, age 17, of 329 Webster Street, Waterloo, IA
Columbus Tre Lawrence, age 20, of 415 Shilliam Drive, Waterloo, IA
Tramaine Terrell Gary, age 19, of 124 Conger Street, Waterloo, IA

All four were charged with Burglary in the Second Degree.
