On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at approximately 7:11 AM Waterloo Officers were in the area of Yesway at 117 San Marnan when they observed suspect acting suspicious.    As the officers approached the suspect fled on foot and was apprehended in the area of the 100 blk of Southbrook after a brief foot chase.

Investigation into this matter led to the suspect, Jamar R. Wise age 25 being charged for the following robberies:

2nd Degree Robbery for the Metro Mart robbery, 2332 Falls Ave, Waterloo, reported on January 29th, 2018 at 6:32 AM.

2nd Degree Robbery for the Neighborhood Mart robbery, 2100 Lafayette, Waterloo,  reported on January 31, 2018 at 7:23 AM.

1st Degree Robbery and Sexual Abuse 1st, for the B and B East robbery, 1615 Bishop Ave, Waterloo, reported on February 10th, 2018 at approximately at 6:28 AM.

2nd Degree Robbery, Assault while participating in a Felony and Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse, for the Prime Mart robbery, 508 Broadway, Waterloo, reported on February 27th, 2018, at 7:23 AM.

This investigation is ongoing.
