The Waterloo Police Department is proud to announce the Reserve Officer of the year for 2020.

Reserve Officer Brian Sayer has served the citizens of Waterloo since 2005. Since that time he has volunteered his time working events, handling calls for service with the sworn members of the Waterloo Police Department and trained new Reserve Officers.

Brian has been a dedicated member of this unit who gives of himself to his community and the other members of his unit. Many times he helps other Reserve Officers when they need extra ride time, during PT testing, and attends trainings to make sure he is the best Officer he can be for the citizen’s he serves.

Brian also assists with keeping the unit’s non-profit status up to date while he is working his day time job as a respected Attorney in Waterloo. I want to thank Brian Sayer, Reserve Officer 2020 for his continued service and dedication to the Waterloo Police department and the Citizens of Waterloo.

Congratulation Reser ve Officer Sayer!
