AMBER ALERT: Missing Waterloo Child – Public Assistance Requested
The Waterloo Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 12‑year‑old Deyton Annabelle Cranston, who was reported missing on April 5, 2026.
Deyton went missing at approximately 12:30 p.m. and was last seen in the 200 block of Byron Avenue in Waterloo. Through the investigation, it was determined that Deyton left the area in a red 2018–2024 Toyota Camry with dark tinted windows and a black spoiler.
The vehicle was being driven by a Middle Eastern male, first name Danny, age 20–30, with a mustache and beard.
Deyton is described as:
- Age: 12
- Height: approximately 5’4’’ tall
- Weight: approximately 135 lbs.
- Hair: long, straight, strawberry‑blonde
- Eyes: brown
- Last seen wearing: white tank top, blue skirt, white Nike shoes, gray coat
- Additional details: wearing large clear‑frame glasses
Deyton’s cell phone was later recovered along Interstate 380 near Mt. Auburn, Iowa, and investigators believe she may be in danger.The Waterloo Police Department urges anyone who sees the vehicle or either individual to dial 911 immediately.
