On Friday, May 16th, 2025, at about 1332 hrs., Waterloo Police were dispatched to Allen Hospital on the report of a shooting victim that arrived at the hospital by private vehicle.  Through the investigation, it was determined that the scene of this incident was in the 200 blk. of Sumner Street.  The victim in this case sustained life-threatening injuries.  No further information will be released at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
