Waterloo Police Request Public's Assistance

Waterloo Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help regarding a recent homicide investigation. Detectives are asking any citizens with surveillance video in the highlighted area below to check their video systems for any suspicious activity from about 11:50 pm on 8/1/26 until 1:30 am 8/2/26. This highlighted area is the neighborhood between W. 1st Street and Sunnyside Avenue, and between Leland Avenue and University Avenue.
