The Waterloo Police Department is proud to announce the Reserve Officer of the year for 2021.
Reserve Officer Brian Nolta has served the citizens of Waterloo since 2003. Since that time he has volunteered his time working events, handling calls for service
and trained new Reserve Officers. Some of the events Brian enjoys working are The 4th Street Cruise, My Waterloo Days, RAGBRAI and Irish Fest. Brian volunteered
over 100 hours of his time to the citizens of Waterloo during 2021.
Brian has been a dedicated member of this unit who gives of himself to his community and the other members of his unit. Many times he helps newer Reserve Officers
during training, and attends monthly trainings to make sure he is the best Officer he can be for the citizens of Waterloo.
Brian is also a Reserve Sergeant and helps manage the functions of the Reserve Unit. I want to thank Brian Nolta, Reserve Officer 2021 for his continued service and
dedication to the Waterloo Police department and the Citizens of Waterloo.
Congratulations Reserve Officer Nolta!
