On Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 at approximately, 4:40 PM. Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue were sent to the 1100 blk of Washington on report of a shooting. When they arrived, they located a male in the median suffering from a gunshot wound.   The male was later determined to be deceased.    The male has been identified as Dayton L. Sanders age 20 of Waterloo.   This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Waterloo Police.
